Navan Fest

Monday, August 3rd, 2009

The Festival day in Navan went off very well.  From a musical point of view there was a wealth of talent on show for a great turn out on the day.  Amoung the bands on the day were “The off notes” and “legacy” also were really in the festival mood despite the rain beginning.  I was on next the set was easy I did Endearing Child, True Love, In your eyes, But the rain persisted and the crowd had thined out concideribly by the end of my set I finished up with “News for you” and the rain came down.  Next up was The legend of Luke Kelly fronted by Chris Kavanagh top class stuff all around. Flawless pipe playing for the piper Joe Finn and backing supplied by laid back brothers Gavin and Graham Doyle.

Thanks to Stevo Moran  sound engineer for all the work on sound.

Well done Navan! I’m looking forward to 2010
